Terms of Use

Last updated: September 26, 2026

1. What DocAutoSign is

DocAutoSign (docautosign.com), a Phoenixwebhost Inc. product, is a software tool for editing, filling, and electronically signing documents. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

DocAutoSign is a tool, not a law firm. We don't give legal advice and we are not a party to the documents or agreements you create, send, or sign.

2. Your account

Use a real email address you control and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity in your account. Free trials and free credits are limited to one per person. New accounts verify a US mobile number with a 6-digit text code before the 14-day trial starts; one trial per email address and per phone number (message rates may apply).

3. Electronic signatures (ESIGN and UETA)

In the United States, the federal ESIGN Act and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA), as adopted by the states, generally give electronic signatures and records the same legal effect as paper and ink. DocAutoSign lets you apply, send, and collect electronic signatures and keeps a record of how each document was signed.

Some documents can't be signed electronically or have extra requirements (for example wills, certain court and family-law documents, some notices, and documents that must be notarized or filed in person). You are responsible for deciding whether an electronic signature is right for your document and for following any rules that apply to it.

When you send a document for signature, you are responsible for making sure each signer agrees to sign electronically. A signer may ask the sender for a paper copy.

4. Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use DocAutoSign and for the content of any document you upload, edit, fill, sign, or send, including edits made with AI features.

You are responsible for having the right to edit and use the documents you work on, and for making sure your use follows the laws that apply to you.

Don't use DocAutoSign to forge signatures, alter official or government documents in a misleading way, commit fraud, or send spam. We may suspend accounts that do.

5. AI features and credits

AI edits change only the area you select. AI results can be wrong, incomplete, or different from what you expected. Review every AI edit before you use, sign, or send a document; you are responsible for the final document.

1 AI credit is used for each successful AI edit or action (AI Fix, grammar check or AI scan); credits are sold at $0.35 each in packs of 20, 50 or 100. No credit is used when an edit fails. Purchased credits never expire and are non-refundable except where required by law or when a charge was made in error.

Free includes 3 one-time AI credits. Paid plans include monthly AI credits with no rollover (Basic 5, Pro 10, Diamond Pro 20). The Free/trial 3 credits are limited to one per person and device. Extra packs never expire.

Referrals: you earn 10 AI credits when someone you invite upgrades to a paid plan and their first payment succeeds. Your friend starts with the normal 3-credit trial and gets no referral bonus. Max 10 credited referrals per month. If that payment is refunded or disputed, the credits are reversed (only the part you haven't used). Self-referrals, duplicate trials and disposable emails don't count.

6. Plans and payments

Plan prices and limits are shown on the Pricing page: Free ($0, 20 e-signs/mo with watermark), optional 14-day Pro trial (30 signature requests and 30 signing emails in total), Basic ($10/mo or $96/yr), Pro ($19/mo or $190/yr, most popular), Diamond Pro ($39/mo or $390/yr; 3 users included with Diamond AI sharing one workspace AI budget; extra users billed monthly per user), and Firms (quote). Paid plans include unlimited fair-use e-signatures. A signature request is one document sent for signature; sending it again doesn’t count twice. Paid plans are billed by Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel in Settings → Plan & billing. Credit packs are one-time payments. We don’t store your card details.

7. Records and audit trail

DocAutoSign keeps an activity record for each document (created, edited, sent, viewed, signed, completed, downloaded), including the time and, for signing events, the signer's IP address and browser. Completed documents include a signing certificate. This record is part of how the service works and is not removed when you use AI features.

8. Your data: storage and deletion

Your documents stay yours. We store them with our providers only to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can download or delete your documents at any time.

To close your account and delete its data, email support@docautosign.com from the address on your account. We may keep limited records we are required to keep (for example payment records).

9. No warranty

DocAutoSign is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent allowed by law, DocAutoSign is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Questions? Email support@docautosign.com or use our contact page.
